Jennifer dressed differently every day. She was my most trusted employee. Longue Durée I, II, & III are now live!

“LOUIS! I’m going to have to fire Jennifer!”
“I gave her a raise.”
“LOUIS!”

Jennifer played by her own rules. I needed a person I could trust and depend on at the front desk of M.R.I., my pharmaceutical research corporation, and gave her a chance. She kept track of everything going on in my business and alerted me when it got suspicious. In scientific research, you don’t have a lot of walk-in customers, so her choice of attire, didn’t really matter.

There were a few times that she pushed it. The Nun outfit with thigh-high’s comes to mind, followed by a sexy cop uniform, with a very real looking gun and badge. She not only alerted me when my presence was necessary to resolve departmental wars, but called me about suspicious customers regularly visiting my high security research and development department. Thanks to her, the Feds busted an espionage group that cost me millions.

Jeniffer got married and moved to Chicago. After years of service, she told us that her boyfriend here in Orlando, managed a playhouse, and together, they had just bought one in Chicago. Who knew?

Jennifer, was one of many unusual, and crazy, characters in the Longue Durée books. The download on Amazon is cheap… or free!

Author: David Alexander

Writer David Alexander’s life has had as many twists and plot changes as his books. College in Cincinnati for commercial art was sidelined for the construction industry. His writing started there, as therapy for the stress of owning a business. David learned to sail, and vacationed on a sailboat in the Caribbean, every December. He fell in love with St. Croix and shut down the Ohio business permanently. Moving 2200 miles, he built and ran condominiums in St. Croix, USVI. Now, living on the east coast of Florida, David builds interiors for 70’ luxury yachts. The years of stories in the marinas, and experiences in many countries, fuel the keyboard of this lucky writer. He has done with little effort what many hope to experience on their bucket list.
